1. IntroductionIncome inequality has long been an important issue that continues to receive attention and is crucial to maintaining social stability and promoting sustainable development. The tenth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to “reduce inequality within and among countries”, which includes reducing income inequality. Income inequality is prevalent globally, with a particularly significant impact on developing countries.
