Hod Soto and John W. Haefeli have been called to the Big Leagues up above. During the past couple weeks, Greeley lost two of its most caring and influential mentors of young athletes and young students. CHSAANow.com and MaxPreps released girls soccer all-state teams Thursday, and local programs are well represented. Windsor senior goalkeeper Leah Bacon earned Class 4A first-team honors after recording 71 saves and a 0.347 goals-against average for the Wizards this spring. Windsor (16-4) was the state runner-up, losing an overtime shootout to Evergreen in the title game May 20 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs. The teams were derived from nominations and votes by programs’ head coaches.
