The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has named WPP as Creative Company of the Year for 2025. The award recognizes the creative excellence of WPP’s agencies and their work for clients. WPP’s Mindshare also received the joint highest points tally in Media Network of the Year. Throughout the festival, WPP agencies won a total of 168 Lions, including a Titanium Lion, 10 Grand Prix, a Glass Lion for Change, 23 Gold, 53 Silver, and 81 Bronze Lions.

As the 72nd Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity concluded, the final Awards Show recognized winners in Film, Titanium, Glass: The Lion for Change, Sustainable Development Goals, and Grand Prix for Good. Representing the Asia-Pacific’s top honors, Revolver Australia was awarded the Palme d’Or (after finishing as runner-up in 2024), while the Grand Prix for Good went to ‘The Best Place in the World to Have Herpes’ for the New Zealand Herpes Foundation, by FINCH and Motion Sickness.

Asia took home two Gold Lions, with Grey Thailand’s “Sad Kama-Chan” for Bar B Q Plaza and FCB India’s “Lucky Yatra” for Mumbai Railway, both recognized in the Cannes Lions Creative Commerce category. Overall, the category received 644 entries, with 21 Lions awarded, including three Gold, eight Silver, nine Bronze, as well as the Grand Prix, which was given to ‘Preserved Promos’ for Ziploc by VML, New York.
