Trump on Wednesday reiterated his earlier position that the annexation of Greenland is critical to American national security. "We need Greenland for international safety and security. We need it. The Supreme Court on Wednesday stayed a controversial order by the Allahabad High Court, which held that grabbing the breasts of a minor girl and breaking the string of her pyjama would not come under the offence of attempt to rape. The SC bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice Augustine George Masih said that the order showed a lack of sensitivity on the part of the High Court judge who passed it.

In a shocking incident, two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man who had been missing for nearly three months. The body of Jagdeep, a yoga teacher at Baba Mastnath University in Rohtak, was recovered from a pit in Charkhi Dadri on Monday, three months after he went missing. Two people, Hardeep, the owner of the rented accommodation in Janata Colony where Jagdeep had lived for three years, and his accomplice Dharampal, were arrested in connection with the murder.
