If there is one thing that the latest ranking of India’s top restaurants has revealed, it is that one year is a long time on the dining scene–tastes and preferences can change very quickly. The 2024 list of India’s top 50 restaurants had as many as 18 new entries and many major swings in rankings. Contemporary takes on Indian flavours remain firm favourites, but Japanese cuisine has come through as a clear winner this time.
