This year’s event will be held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. This year’s matchup between the Heels and the Buckeyes will be the 17th time that these two have faced off against each other. UNC leads the series 13-3, but Ohio State is not a stranger to rolling out some tough teams regardless.

Hampton is the first Tar Heel off the board, giving Mack Brown what is likely his last first round draft pick ever. It’s awesome to see Hampton get drafted this high in the draft, especially after what was a pretty tumultuous season for UNC.

The lowest hanging fruit in all of this is creating a roster that could compete, which certainly doesn’t seem like a tall ask in the transfer portal era. You got an increased budget compared to what Mack Brown had, so you can spend for good players, and we can see what happens from there. Simple, right?
