Lacrosse has been a very good sport for the University of North Carolina in recent years, with the women winning national championships in 2013, 2016, and 2022, and the men also bringing home the crown in 2016. There’s a chance for that to continue this year, as both Tar Heel teams will be in the 2025 editions for the tournament.

This year’s event will be held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA. This year’s matchup between the Heels and the Buckeyes will be the 17th time that these two have faced off against each other. UNC leads the series 13-3, but Ohio State is not a stranger to rolling out some tough teams regardless.
