I believe it's because purity of faith has taken precedence over practicing the faith, with the latter becoming secondary.

Book Review:Furthering the Discussion on Godly ManhoodDo you want to be a male or a man? What is the difference? That is what Dondre Whitfield explains in his book “Male vs Man”. Every man you meet is a male, but not every male you meet is a man. (pg 9)The above quote is probably the best way to summarize the book. I loved this book. It was refreshing to hear a man speak on servitude and sacrifice when most authors on the subject only speak on conquest and authority.

Have you ever read a book and your only reaction is, “So what?” I kept coming to this question as I read, “Pagan Christianity? Exploring the Roots of our Church Practices.”Frank Viola and George Barna thoroughly researched their book and laid out chapters that made sense and followed a pattern. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the problem that I think they are making a mountain out of a molehill.

A Discussion on How Christians Should Treat SinChristians tend to fall into two camps when it comes to sin. Conservatives tend to condemn sinner and sin while liberals condon sinner and sin. This is not the case for every single person, but does encompass the general attitude. Luckily there is a third way, and a more biblical one in my opinion. We are to love the sinner, but not the sin.
