SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County is unveiling a new helicopter designed for law enforcement. The new aircraft is replacing two different helicopters that officials say were outdated. “The two previous aircraft were both 55 years old, so we’ve seen a lot of advances in safety technology and the law enforcement technology as well,” Spokane Valley Police Chief Dave Ellis said. As for those previous helicopters, the county was able to auction off its Bell UH-1 for $900,00.

According to Spokane County, the assessed value identified in the notice is the amount that your 2026 property taxes are calculated. SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Zephyr will host its last home match of the team’s inaugural regular season this weekend. “Saturday is going to be a huge day,” said Reilly Harnetiaux, Director of Sporting and Community Engagement for the Zephyr and Velocity. As the team prepares for a game against Ft. Lauderdale United, fans are being asked to wear black in the stands. “This match is basically going to determine if we make the playoffs, where we stand in the playoffs,” Harnetiaux said.
