A 18-month-old toddler drowned in a swimming pool in Lovemore Heights, Gqeberha, at the start of the weekend. Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge said the incident was reported at about 7pm on Friday. Detectives working on the case arrested the man on Friday morning. The body of the Gqeberha mom was discovered inside her boyfriend's Oyster Bay holiday home during the early hours of Easter Sunday. A 21-year-old Gqeberha man was shot multiple times and left for dead just metres from his front door in a brazen daylight shooting on Thursday afternoon. The cold-blooded hit occurred at about 2.50pm on Kiewiet Street in Booysen Park.
