GoRetroid's recent announcement revealed their new dual screen add-on that brings a clamp-able 5.5" AMOLED display that attaches to a few of their previous devices, alongside other third party devices. This tease has now evolved into an official release with pre-orders now live, at a price of $69 available on their website today, making it a great affordable accessory for those that wants to elevate their Pocket 5, Pocket Mini and Pocket 4+ handhelds.

Seb our Editor-In-Chief was recently telling me to write something about GoRetroid's "cryptic" social posts recently, but I told him that I am going to hang fire because I had a hunch that it wouldn't be a brand new dual-screen display which we were all hoping for. I was right and instead GoRetroid has revealed an OLED display add-on that can be attached to their Retroid Pocket 5, Retroid Pocket Mini and their older Retroid Pocket 4 exclusively.

Now, I know as I write this many of you who are into your handheld emulators will disagree with me here, but I have a soft spot for metal handhelds. Maybe because they feel premium, maybe because I am just so use to plastic devices or maybe its the fact my one year old is too weak to pick it up... possibly the latter. So I was happy to see that a possible metal device is in the works by ANBERNIC called the RG477M, first found from the keen eyed folks at Retro Handhelds on X.
