As a thirty-one year old resident of Marco Island, I see division at play on the island that pits council members, and neighbors, against each other: the businesses vs. the residents. Growth and development are widespread across Florida, and I am grateful that Marco Island is nearing build-out. As full-time residents and property owners on Marco Island, we enjoy frequenting many of the businesses on Marco.
