His announcement follows his Saturday performance at the Glastonbury Festival where he appeared to lose his voice and the crowd carried him through his songs.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The 2023 BET Awards celebrated 50 years of hip-hop with tributes to the genre’s earliest voices, late legends, and new talent during a show packed with spectacular performances that consistently felt like a party. Sunday’s biggest surprise came when Quavo and Offset, the surviving members of Migos, performed “Bad and Boujee” in front of an image of Takeoff, who died in a shooting in November.

Country star Eric Church paid tribute to rock legend Bob Seger in Detroit Friday night by performing a medley of Seger’s favorite songs during his concert at the Pine Knob Music Theatre. [Watch Below]This has become a regular part of Church’s shows in Detroit, as he continues to show his respect for Seger. Church shared a story with the sold-out crowd about how Seger came to his aid in 2006 when Church was replaced on a tour for upstaging the headliner, Rascal Flatts.

Park County Library in collaboration with the local radio stations at Big Horn Basin Media recently introduced the return of a unique and exciting program called “DJ Storytime.” This a fun 30-minute session where radio personalities take on a new role as storytellers. Children and their families gather at the library every Wednesday morning to enjoy a reading session led by one of the station’s on-air talent.

Nick Mason drummer of Pink Floyd believes that a reunion is unlikely, because of the issues between David Gilmour and Roger Waters. In a recent interview, Mason mentioned that it would take someone like Nelson Mandela to bring them together. “I think it’s highly unlikely, but I would’ve said that before Live 8 — 10 years ago or 12 years ago, whatever it was,” Mason said.

Ronnie James Dio nearly became a member of Sweet in 1979, according to Andy Scott, the band’s leader. Sweet was searching for a replacement for their departed singer, Brian Connolly, Dio had been a frontrunner as a replacement option but was unable to get a unanimous vote from the band. If he had been chosen, Dio might never have joined Black Sabbath later that same year.

Yellowstone National Park officials warn tourists constantly about keeping a safe distance from the wild animals in the park, but despite the danger, some tourists still insist on pursuing an encounter with wildlife. Since Yellowstone opened for the 2023 season two months ago, there have been more tourists caught on camera attempting to interact with wildlife than in year previous with some interactions resulting in the death of park animals.
