The holidays are officially upon us! If you’re hosting Thanksgiving, it’s time to nail down the perfect spread. If you’re a guest, it’s time to decide what you’re contributing! Fall has arrived! At least it has according to Trader Joe’s, and that’s good enough for me. Cue sweater, soup, and spooky szn. The day pumpkin takes over the store is like a holiday. It’s exciting to reunite with beloved seasonal items and discover what’s new. It’s also pure madness because popular items sell out quickly, some of them permanently before “official fall” even starts.

Recently, a friend needed to go dairy-free and reached out to see if I could help. It’s a frustrating transition, even though there are a lot more dairy alternatives out there now than even a few years ago! After a few weeks, she was just stuck, eating the same foods on repeat, and needed a little variety. Off to Trader Joe’s I went! I already had a few dairy-free products in mind that even I, a dairy consumer, love and buy regularly.

Remember when we used to hit the ground running into the new year, obsessing over every morsel we put into our bodies and pushing ourselves in the gym daily? A successful “New Year, new me” was usually measured by how ready our bikini bodies were by Spring Break. Now, we’re in our slow girl era. We replaced “no pain, no gain” with a “do what feels good” attitude to embark on a journey to long-term, sustainable wellness.

I talk a lot about my love for Trader Joe’s, but there’s another store close to my heart that deserves some love: Costco. While I run to TJ’s for the latest seasonal item, Costco is a little more “business.” As a food lover, both are equally fun. My Costco hauls tend to stay pretty static. I have a list of staples I stick to pretty much every trip – A curated list that took some time to perfect because honestly, Costco can be overwhelming. It’s MASSIVE. Everything is massive.
