Convicted DC Sniper Requests New Sentencing In Rockville today, a resentencing hearing for convicted sniper Lee Boyd Malvo was indefinitely postponed after Virginia rejected Malvo’s request to be temporarily let out of prison to attend a court session in Maryland. Malvo and his lawyers are requesting the courts adjust his original life sentence to include the possibility of parole.

Mother Accused Of Shooting Teenage Daughter A 13-year-old girl was shot inside her Seat Pleasant home on Monday. Her mother told investigators someone had shot the teen in the home in the 500 block of 69th place. After further investigation, police say the girl’s mother was the actual shooter. Telecka Brown now faces a charge of attempted murder.
