    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A five-year-old has died after drowning at Percy Priest Lake on Tuesday night, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. Officers were called to the Hamilton Creek Park area just before 7 p.m. where police said Tobias Henock was swimming with his family. The five-year-old was not wearing a lifejacket and disappeared underwater for several minutes before his father found him, police said.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A group of musicians, nurses, and other volunteers went room to room in Nashville, helping people in the hospital heal through the power of music. Musicians On Call is getting people through some of the hardest times of their lives by using songs to boost their spirits. The group had performers going from patient to patient at TriStar Centennial on Tuesday. They said singing can be an extremely powerful way to help people with treatments for cancer and other illnesses.

    SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) - A stray bullet hit a one-year-old girl in the head in what police are calling a drug deal gone bad in the street of a Spring Hill neighborhood. J.P. and Leslie Layne said it’s a miracle their daughter, London, is alive after the bullet went flying into her nursery. They were woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of gunfire outside their house, and then heard London screaming.

    BELLE MEADE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Sidewalks are no longer allowed to be built along Belle Meade Boulevard. The city’s Board of Commissioners approved the new rules on Wednesday following a months-long battle over the road, including a lawsuit from residents. The sidewalk proposal would’ve built a curb and paved walking paths on both sides of the road’s median. The idea was started in 2022 after a pedestrian was killed walking along the road.
