On March 7, 2024, Denver’s Orchid Lounge was a portal to an entirely different dimension as Invisible Bird, featuring Scott Amendola, graced the crowd with a mosaic of jazz, blues, and electronica. As I looked around, I felt out of place. I had never seen jazz live before, let alone considered myself a cool cat. Those around me exuded a cool elegance that felt foreign to me.
