BREAKING: I have learned that a student at South Meck High has contracted tuberculosis (TB). The Mecklenburg Co Health Dept sent a letter on March 4 to all parents of students it believes came in contact with the infected student. Another day, another serious fight at a CMS school. This one was at Ardrey Kell High. Medic was called due to injuries. Principal Jaime Brooks sent a message about the fight only to parents who had kids in the classroom where the fight occurred, though many students knew about it

Per officials, violence is up in CMS schools. Over the last week, big fights took place at Mallard Creek, Rocky River & Garinger high schools. 3 knives were found Monday (1 at Tuckaseegee Elementary) & another last Friday. Today a student at David Cox Elementary had a pellet gun.
