Man also charged with possessing additional tagsOn April 7, 2025, SCDNR officers LCPL Ginn and PFC Sutton checked on a location in Anderson County that was documented for turkey bait. After arriving at the scene, they noticed an open gate, along with a parked vehicle on the property. They heard a gunshot, then contacted a hunter shortly thereafter. The hunter had killed a turkey over that baited area, and he was also in possession of too many tags.

I’ve always loved the month of May. That’s partly because my birthday is this month. And it’s partly because growing up, it was the last full month of school before summer vacation.
