Rain will fall tonight, the beginning of a 3 day period of wet weather. A Flood Watch continues for our area through Sunday morning at 8 am. More heavy rain will be possible late Friday into Friday night and through the day Saturday. TONIGHT: Cloudy with periods of rain, heavy at times, chance of thunder, cooler. Severe thunderstorms will move across the Miami Valley tonight. Damaging wind is the main severe risk during this time, but large hail and tornadoes are also possible. This system will move slower than this past Sunday’s line, so heavy rain and flooding become a big concern, too. TONIGHT: Cloudy and windy with showers and thunderstorms (some severe) and heavy rainfall. Low 60THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with scattered showers. High 68THURSDAY NIGHT: Cloudy with heavy rain possible.

Tonight will stay dry, but clouds increase ahead of a strong storm system. As a warm front lifts in Wednesday morning, some scattered showers–possibly a thunderstorm–will move through. Any thunderstorm could contain gusty wind and small hail, but the overall severe threat is low in the morning. There looks to be a break in the rain during the early/mid afternoon hours, with more showers and thunderstorms late in the day.

Friday will feature temperatures in the 70s with shower and thunderstorm chances in the morning, followed by some sunshine in the afternoon along with gusty winds.
