WBDT is a CW-affiliated TV station that broadcasts on virtual channel 26 and UHF digital channel 31, serving the Dayton, Ohio area. It is licensed in Springfield, Ohio, and is owned by Vaughan Media, LLC. The station operates under a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Nexstar Media Group, which also owns the NBC affiliate WDTN, licensed to Dayton (channel 2). Both WBDT and WDTN share studio facilities located on South Dixie Drive in Moraine, although they have a Dayton mailing address. The master control and certain internal operations for both stations are managed from the centralcasting facilities of their former sister station, WISH-TV, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. WBDT does not have its own website; instead, it is part of the WDTN website.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Part of Wright State University’s main campus will look different after some new upgrades. The university announced today that renovations are being made to The Hangar and the fountain outside of Allyn Hall. “The project includes complete remodel of the exterior quad and fountain, as well as flooring, paint, furniture, and a ceiling and lighting refresh inside the Hangar,” the university said in a social media post.

Dayton Ohio man in custody after alleged domestic violence

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is in custody after a struggle ensued during an alleged domestic violence incident Tuesday. According to a Dayton Police Department Sergeant, officers headed to the 2700 block of Triangle View Drive minutes before 7:15 a.m. after report of an assault. Officers located an adult male at the residence who had a laceration-related injury. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Kettering man is facing numerous counts of wire fraud after allegedly defrauding a local AMVETS Post. The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio reported Wednesday that 48-year-old Danny Dale Gordon is facing 15 counts of wire fraud. The Attorney said the counts are in relation to alleged embezzlement from AMVETS Dayton Post 24. Gordon was reportedly the commander of the local post from January 2022 to May 2024.
