TOLEDO, Ohio — On Holy Saturday, 1980, the Toledo community was rocked by the ritualistic killing of 71-year-old Sister Margaret Ann Paul in the sacristy of Mercy Hospital. The Sister of Mercy of the Union nun was stabbed between 27 and 32 times in the neck and torso. The stab wound’s pattern was in the shape of an upside-down cross – satanic symbolism. Ultimately, the crime became even more shocking when it was determined that Father Gerald Robinson committed the crime.

MANSFIELD, Ohio — When 16-year-old Ke’Marion Wilder and 15-year-old KyShawn Pittman disappeared on Dec. 3, 2022, a social media trail made it clear the boys were last seen on Maumee Avenue in South Toledo. The home belonged to a man by the name of Corbin Gingrich and his girlfriend, Carissa Eames. Police interviews with Gingrich and others, along with court testimony, indicated that Gingrich believed Ke’Marion stole a gun from him.

TOLEDO, Ohio — On Friday morning, Darnell Jones Ogletree is expected back in the courtroom of Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael R. Goulding for a pretrial hearing, and ahead of that hearing, prosecutors have turned over at least 234 pieces of evidence to defense attorneys. Jones is charged with a slew of murder, kidnapping and rape charges related to the death of Kei’Mani Latigue. He pleaded not guilty to all charges at his arraignment on April 30.
