A Decatur man has pleaded guilty to capital murder of his 11-year-old daughter, avoiding a potential death sentence. Robert Aaron Morairity, 47, entered his plea in 271st District Court in Decatur Monday and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the death of his daughter, Rachel Morairity. As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors said they would not seek the death penalty in the case.
