Sports matter in a divided society. I can't think of the Caps' 2018 Stanley Cup run without the huge crowds OUTSIDE of Capital One Arena. The entire neighborhood that's grown around Nats Park. RFK Stadium played that role once. It can do so again. Also that's a hell of a view.
