The Bulls had an opportunity Wednesday to move past the Heat and boost their chances to host a game in the first round of the Eastern Conference play-in tournament. They took advantage. Josh Giddey compiled his seventh triple-double with 28points, 16rebounds and 11assists and the Bulls beat the Heat 119-111. With the win, the Bulls improved to 37-43, a game ahead of 36-44 Miami for ninth place in the East.

Alex Reinhardt was an athlete who wrestled and played football in high school and continued his gridiron career at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa. Reinhardt, 20, died Feb. 26, 2023, but in a meaningful way, his athletic exploits have continued. From Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, Reinhardt donated the cartilage that was transplanted into the left knee of Bulls guard Lonzo Ball in March 2023.

In the brightly lit MSE Teaching Laboratory inside Cook Hall, teams of Northwestern Engineering students peer into 3D printers, eagerly waiting to see their latest results. The materials they are printing parts with are not your standard resins. Each team has made their own resin formulation, developed over the quarter following insights they have collected over many printing and mechanical testing trials. The results are clear on the students’ faces. Successful prints elicit smiles.
