A cold front is pushing through today, bringing accumulating snow along the Continental Divide. We've been seeing impacts from snow on Highway 2 east of Kalispell through most of the day. These showers continue to develop ahead and on the cold front. We have even seen occasional lightning off of this system. The front will be bringing a sharp temperature drop and a quick shift from rain to snow.

High pressure is currently building in western Montana, clearing out cloud cover and valley fog. This will be giving us a sunny Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be climbing into the upper 60s to 70s for western Montana valleys by Tuesday, but we'll still be seeing cooler evenings. Thursday, temperatures are looking to drop 20 to 30 degrees due to a deep low pressure system pushing south of the region, giving areas along the Continental Divide highs in the upper 30s to low 40s by Thursday afternoon.
