We're still looking at a chance of highs around 10 degrees above the average for this time of year for a majority of the week. Monday sees the chance of afternoon thunderstorms returning to western Montana, and just a few of these storms could be a bit strong in southwestern Montana. The main risks are some gusty winds and small hail. A few storms may pop up Tuesday morning, but we're looking at a mostly dry week. However, that could change by Friday and into the weekend.

We are expecting to see a handful of afternoon and evening thunderstorms through Sunday, with most of these being focused in southwestern Montana. We could even see one or two stronger storms from Lost Trail Pass to MacDonald Pass on Sunday. We'll see more precipitation as we start off the workweek, with areas I-90 and southwards seeing some showers and thunderstorms by Monday afternoon. This is also bringing in the possibility of another round of those stronger storms.

Local artists and creators set up tents and sold a variety of products including clothes, jewelry, soaps, and more. Those in attendance also had the chance to enjoy street tacos from Sher’s Outwest Grill and enjoy the beautiful weather.. Blooms and Beyond occurs every second Sunday of the month through September at Jim and Mary's RV Park.

High pressure continues to build for the first part of the week, causing rising temperatures on Monday and Tuesday. Valleys could see highs in the 90s to even low 100s in some areas, keeping us above the seasonal average. A few showers may develop on Tuesday, but our next biggest chance is looking to be Wednesday and Thursday. During that period, we could see showers and thunderstorms across western Montana. A few of these storms may be strong over southwestern Montana.
