KTVM-TV (Butte, MT)
NBC Montana consists of a network of three television stations located in western Montana, all of which are linked to NBC. The main station is KECI-TV based in Missoula, which operates on virtual and VHF digital channel 13. It is supported by two semi-satellite stations: KCFW-TV (channel 9) in Kalispell and KTVM-TV (channel 6) in Butte. Additionally, Bozeman is served by a Class A translator, KDBZ-CD (channel 42), which broadcasts a direct feed from KTVM. All these stations are owned and managed by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. While the stations generally share the same programming, KCFW and KTVM feature their own commercials and legal IDs, along with some distinct local newscasts.

Senate Bill 326 narrowly passed the House Tuesday morning on second reading, 52- 48, with numerous Montana filmmakers in attendance in the gallery. It then went to House Appropriations, where the committee delayed taking action until Wednesday morning in order to draft up an amendment that could be agreed upon.

Officials say one of the 27 dogs seized recently had puppies, bringing the total number of dogs in this case now to 34. Last week, county officials estimated it would cost roughly $30,000 to care for the dogs, averaging $24-30 per dog each day. To adopt the animals out, the defendant in the case would have to give up the dogs to the county, but officials say so far she has refused to do so.
