Thanksgiving is a time for most families to sit down together to enjoy a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. While visiting Monika Owens’ classroom at Sebring Pre-K Center last Friday, her students, who are 4- to 5-year-olds, shared their ideas of how to prepare a turkey meal. The entire school, consisting of 131 students, also participated in the Turkey Trot early Friday to help collect donations for The Humane Society of Highlands County.
