Three men were arrested following a prostitution sting in Denton County, officials announced Monday. The Denton County Sheriff's Office said its "Prostitution Demand Suppression Operation" took place on May 29. During the operation, deputies arrested John Holland, of Alvord, Texas; Nicholas Matt, of Denton; and Patrick Smith, of Dallas. According to the sheriff's office, Holland faces a charge of online solicitation of a minor, and Matt and Smith both face charges of solicitation of prostitution.

A 7-year-old girl died after being pulled from a retention pond behind a Frisco restaurant Saturday night, officials confirmed. According to a spokesperson with the Frisco Fire Department, at about 8:55 p.m., the 7-year-old was reported missing from an Uncle Julio's restaurant at 2401 Preston Road. When crews arrived to search the area, the child's shoes were located near the bank of a pond. Officials said the child's body was pulled from the pond at about 9:20 p.m. Saturday.

A man has died following an early morning house fire in Northwest Dallas, authorities said Saturday. According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, at about 4:45 a.m., crews were called to a structure fire at a home in the 3000 block of Sumter Drive. When firefighters arrived, they witnessed fire coming from the front door of the home and received a report that someone may be inside.

Arlington police are searching for a driver who struck and killed a woman on I-20 Sunday, the department announced. Just before 5:15 a.m. on May 25, officers responded to the westbound lanes of I-20 near the Matlock Road overpass after a passerby reported seeing someone lying in the road. When officers arrived, they found a woman's body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 26-year-old Coral Springs man faces drug possession charges following a traffic stop in the Florida Keys over the weekend, officials said. Just before 7:35 p.m. Saturday, May 24, an officer stopped a vehicle driving on the bicycle path on US 1 near Mile Marker 84 in Islamorada, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.
