The Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association("IPHA") has recently published itsrevised Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry, Edition8.6 (the "RevisedCode"). The Revised Code will become effective on 1 June 2025 and IPHAmembers are required to be compliant with its provisions from thatdate.

Regulation (EU) 2025/327 on the European Health Data Space (the “Regulation”) was published in the Official Journal of the EU on 5 March 2025. This Regulation implements the European Commission’s proposal in its 2020 communication ‘A European strategy for data’ and creates the first sector-specific common data space in the form of the European Health Data Space (“EHDS”). It is intended to specify and complement the rights laid down in the General Data Protection Regulation.
