Regulation (EU) 2025/327 on the European HealthData Space (the "Regulation") waspublished in the Official Journal of the EU on 5 March 2025. This Regulation implements the European Commission'sproposal in its 2020 communication 'A European strategy for data'andcreates the first sector-specific common data space in the form ofthe European Health Data Space ("EHDS"). It is intended to specify and complement the rights laid down inthe General Data Protection Regulation.
