(WWSB) - It’s a sign of progress on Longboat Key, as the town begins to look more like it did before last year’s hurricanes. “It’s icing on the cake,” said construction manager for the Town of Longboat Key Guy Matricciani. Plastic and cardboard signs have lined the streets on Longboat Key since the 2024 hurricane season ended. “They were old and needed to be replaced,” said Matricciani.
