Last weekend, I was strolling through a local park when I overheard an older couple nearby bemoaning the way young people are constantly buried in their phones. I felt a quick surge of annoyance before remembering, with slight embarrassment, that at 37 years old I’m not one of the “young people” they’re complaining about. For the most part, I agree it’s important to put down our devices.
