Indiana Jones and the Great Circle makes its long-awaited jump to PS5 this week and I was eager to jump in on PS5 Pro with all the new enhancements that were promised. The game looked absolutely phenomenal on Xbox Series X, but it’s just that little bit better on PS5 Pro. The game takes advantage of the PS5 Pro to allow for native 4K with advanced ray-tracing (in addition to just standard ray-tracing on the regular PS5 and Xbox Series X).

As far as sticks-to-screen adaptations go, the first season of The Last of Us really was about as good as it gets. While remaining faithful to the source material, the show runners were able to even further expand the borders of this narratively-fertile apocalypse by fleshing out stories barely touched on in the game, or introducing new survivors altogether. Absolutely anybody who’s played the games will know, however, that the real challenge is going to come from adapting The Last of Us Part II.

After the gameplay reveal for Marathon overnight, which confirmed the game’s September release date, it’s been confirmed that the game will not be adopting a free-to-play model, instead opting for a premium paid model. Bungie was quick to respond to a report that the game would be “full-priced,” which, in this day and age, could mean anything between $60-80 USD by confirming the game wouldn’t be “full-priced” but that it would be treated as a premium title. Marathon will be a premium title.

In a statement published on Variety, it’s been confirmed that HBO’s flagship series The Last of Us, which has been adapted from the video game series which launched in 2013, has been renewed for a third season. The renewal came roughly a week ahead of the premiere of the show’s second season, which will cover the events of the second game after the first season chronicled the events of The Last of Us Part I.
