WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — It's a hot weekend for the Palm Beaches and Treasure Coast! High temperatures in the low 90s but it will feel like triple digits. Hydrate, seek shade and wear sunscreen. The Sarahan dust bloom is in full force across our area. You'll notice hazy skies and maybe even some dust on your car!This is an early-season bloom— we typically get this dust in late June and July. Expect this dust to last through the weekend.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (WFLX) - The day will start off with some sunshine across out viewing area before we get some showers in the afternoon. Highs today will hover around 90 degrees, with temperatures dropping in the lower to mid-70s tonight. The heat index will feel near the triple digits. Palm Beach County could see some spotty showers during lunchtime. At around 7:30 p.m., we could get some stronger storms around Vero Beach.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A stormy Saturday afternoon on the Treasure Coast. We are in a Level 1, marginal threat for severe weather through Saturday. Hail and damaging wind gusts are our greatest concerns. A Severe Thunder Storm Warning took effect late afternoon in Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin counties. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — On May 1, 2024 the Florida 15-week abortion law turned into a six-week abortion ban. In November, Amendment 4 was rejected by Florida voters as it did not receive 60% approval to overturn the current six week ban. WPTV reporter Brooke Chau has been closely following the impact and giving a voice to all sides of Amendment 4. For sidewalk advocates on the Treasure Coast, "We believe that all life from conception to natural death is sacred," said Jim Thoma.
