WFLX-TV (West Palm Beach, FL)
WFLX, known as "Fox 29," serves as the Fox-affiliated television station for the Gold and Treasure Coasts in South Florida. Based in West Palm Beach, the station transmits a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 28 (virtual channel 29) from a transmitter located in Lake Worth, just west of US 441/SR 7. Viewers can tune in on Comcast channel 11 and watch in high definition on digital channel 434. While Raycom Media holds the broadcast license, WFLX is operated by the E. W. Scripps Company under a shared services agreement with Scripps-owned NBC affiliate WPTV-TV, established in March 2011. All physical assets, programming, and intellectual property of WFLX are owned by Scripps. The station shares its studios with WPTV, located on South Australian Avenue in Downtown West Palm Beach.

One man is dead after investigators say a possible fight between cousins took a deadly turn in Hobe Sound. According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, a man was shot and killed in the Banner Lake community off Southeast Begonia Way. The shooter, another adult male, stayed on the scene and was questioned at the sheriff's office. The victim, identified as Ernie Smith, died at the hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol just added a sweet new ride to its fleet. The agency on Tuesday posted photos of a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray on their Facebook page. The car has a familiar paint scheme that Florida drivers are used to seeing on trooper vehicles. According to the FHP, the vehicle will be used to "support their mission of keeping our roadways and highways safe." They said the Corvette will often be seen at various educational outreach events.
