WFLX, known as "Fox 29," serves as the Fox-affiliated television station for the Gold and Treasure Coasts in South Florida. Based in West Palm Beach, the station transmits a high-definition digital signal on UHF channel 28 (virtual channel 29) from a transmitter located in Lake Worth, just west of US 441/SR 7. Viewers can tune in on Comcast channel 11 and watch in high definition on digital channel 434. While Raycom Media holds the broadcast license, WFLX is operated by the E. W. Scripps Company under a shared services agreement with Scripps-owned NBC affiliate WPTV-TV, established in March 2011. All physical assets, programming, and intellectual property of WFLX are owned by Scripps. The station shares its studios with WPTV, located on South Australian Avenue in Downtown West Palm Beach.

    Officials with the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed that a brief EF0 tornado touched down Monday evening in The Acreage. The NWS said that the tornado was spawned by a "supercell thunderstorm" that moved northeast across Palm Beach County from Lion Country Safari through the city of Westlake and into The Acreage. Kara Hanning, the mom of 2-year-old Adalynn Mae Sadler, said she wouldn’t wish this tragedy on anybody. On May 5, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office was called out to a home in Keithville, Louisiana, to do a welfare check. When deputies got there, they said Adalynn’s grandfather, 60-year-old Leroy Sadler, refused to communicate with them.
