    LOUISVILLE, Ky.  – Cleveland State University had three athletes compete at the 2024 NCAA Zone C Regional Championships in Louisville on Thursday and Friday. The three Vikings were all making their first appearances at an NCAA post-season event. On Thursday, Xander Austin, a freshman, placed 29th in 3m with 269.20 points, and fellow freshman, James Wolf came in one place back with 264.35 points. The women saw junior, Brooke Eichel come in 56th after scoring 181.90 points in 1m.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cleveland State women's swimming & diving athletes, Ana Sofia Sousa and Brooke Eichel were named to the 2023-24 Valeo All-Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday afternoon. Sofia Sousa, received All-Academic recognition for the third straight season. The senior holds a 3.78 GPA and is pursuing a degree in marketing. The Sines, Portugal, native has been named to the Dean's List five times and the President's List twice.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Vikings defeated Niagara 151-79 on Tuesday afternoon to kick off a busy week of three meets in four days. Brooke Eichel won 3m diving with 227.70 points and Mackenzie Erickson won 1m diving with 223.95 points. Mackenzie Lipnick won both distance events on the day; 1000-yard freestyle (10:36.27) and 500-yard freestyle (5:11.07). Alaina Brown was victorious in the 200-yard IM (2:11.63) and 200-yard backstroke (2:08.07).

    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State finished eighth with 316 points at the 2023 Magnus Cup Invitational. Akron won the team title with 1,571 points, FGCU was second with 1,052 points, and Northern Colorado was third with 922 points. Brooke Eichel scored 119.15 points in platform diving. Madison Taker placed seventh in the 1650-yard freestyle after finishing with the tenth-fastest time in program history, 17:16.57.
