INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Vikings held their fifth spot with one day remaining at the 2024 Horizon League Championships. Cleveland State ended the third day with 299.5 points. The evening started with the 100-yard butterfly as Tess Walsh placed sixth with a time of 56.19. Audrey Butcher (57.89) came in 13th and Haley Palmer (57.96) was one-spot behind. In the 400-yard IM, Kellsie Krisch clocked a 4:34.43, putting her in tenth. Four places behind her was Mackenzie Lipnick with a time of 4:39.05.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Vikings are fifth with 162 points after two days of competition at the 2024 Horizon League Championships. Grace Chelf won the 50-yard freestyle championship after sprinting to the fifth fastest time in school history, 23.17. The sophomore won prelims earlier this morning with the fourth fastest time in school history, 23.14. Ana Sofia Sousa clocked the eighth fastest time in program history, 23.38, placing her fifth in the 50-yard freestyle.

GAMBIER, Ohio – Cleveland State split their double dual on the road Friday afternoon, defeating Oberlin, 219-75, and falling to Kenyon, 239-61. CLEVELAND, Ohio – Cleveland State is ninth with 71 points after the first day of the 2023 Magnus Cup Invitational. Akron leads with 470.5 points, FGCU is second with 305 points, and Northern Colorado is third with 279 points. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Ana Sofia Sousa, Haley Palmer, Ella Ciez, and Grace Chelf placed tenth with a time of 1:34.76. Grace Butcher placed 16th in the 50-yard breaststroke after touching in 30.02.
