A wildlife photographer was left mortified after snapping what he thought was a 'mystery animal' - only for people to point out it was most likely a lost wig he had photographed. Carl Bovis was out photographing rabbits and birds in his hometown of Bridgwater, Somerset, when he spotted a furry 'creature' down a lane on July 17.

'Preppers' worried about the chance of nuclear war can buy themselves peace of mind with their own Cold War-era British military nuclear bunker - and it comes with parking. The unusual 'property' in Sedbergh, Cumbria, is a Royal Observer Corps (ROC) nuclear bunker built in the 1950s and designed to provide protective accommodation for three observers to survive a nuclear attack.

Katy Russell says it ruined friendships, disrupted her relationship with her boyfriend, and saw her given the nickname 'Rowdy Russell'. Despite all of this, doctors failed to realise she was intolerant to the drug, and continued to recommend she take it. Katy started using contraception as a teenager in a bid to relieve her period symptoms.

An Airbnb host has revealed how "middle-aged ravers" turned his property into a "battlefield" - ransacking rooms, smashing doors, and even "flinging beds through windows". Muzingaye Nduna says he woke to find messages from the police and neighbours after cops were called to "restore order" at one of his Airbnbs overnight. The 37-year-old owner sent his cleaner to the West Midlands home and was shocked to see horrific images of the damage.
