The Greenville Arena District (GAD), owner and operator of Bon Secours Wellness Arena, is planning to expand and renovate the facility. The project is expected to cost between $150 and $170 million and GAD is still working to secure funding.

One year after Spartanburg County voters passed the Capital Penny Sales Tax, crews have completed four repaving projects, made safety improvements, and three dozen projects are currently in the design phase. Four years ago, nearly 50% of all Spartanburg County roads were in poor condition. That number is now around 30%.
