Commission (SEC) approved its highly anticipated final rules on
"The Enhancement and Standardization of
Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors" by a vote of
3-2, with Republican Commissioners Hester Peirce and Mark Uyeda

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D or
Directive) is a mandatory framework of rules for companies that
operate in the European Union (EU) and exceed certain revenue and
employee thresholds. The Directive will govern how businesses
approach and remedy their harmful impacts on the environment and on
human rights across their value chains (i.e. their "negative
externalities").
