Geezers just wanna have fun nowYessir, it may take me a little more time to get in or out of a car like the Subaru BRZ, and I guess I look like a fool with my contortions, but once settled behind the steering wheel, gearshit at hand, I am as happy as any kid if maybe a little more cautious.

Check It Out! By Bruce Hotchkiss Special Correspondent, Western Bureau THE AUTO CHANNELSometimes when I like a car it's difficult to write a review. When I don't like a car the words just seem to flow. What I'm trying to say is my review of the '25 Kia Sorento PHEV may be short and sweet. I've made no secret of my feelings about Kia's vehicles. I like them. And that's after I had a bad experience with a Kia I bought. I chalk that up to a one-off exacerbated by a dealership.

By Bruce HotchkissSpecial Correspondent, Western BureauTHE AUTO CHANNELI have to admit the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV RS AWD is a good-looking vehicle. Chevy has outdone themselves. It drove well too. And it was comfortable. The Blazer EV is actually a fairly large SUV. It is 192.2" long on a wheelbase of 121.8 inches. An old K5 Blazer, based on a full-size pickup, was at a minimum 177.5" long on a wheelbase of 104 inches.

By Bruce Hotchkiss Special Correspondent - West Coast Bureau THE AUTO CHANNELOkay I get it, this ain't your beloved STi. Cry me a freakin' river. Get over it. Rejoice in what it is, a darn fine sports sedan. I've been a Subie fan for a long time. Way back in a different life (in the late '70s) I was a mechanic at a Lincoln Mercury dealer that took on a Subaru franchise. Although underpowered, Subaru with its AWD was a big selling point in Ontario, Canada.
