Dell Technologies (DELL)  reported an adjusted earnings per share of $1.89 Thursday night, which beat estimates by $0.18. It posted revenue of $25.03 billion, which beat by $910 million. DELL is trading higher in the premarket Friday. Let's check out the charts and indicators for some guidance. In this daily bar chart of DELL, below, I see the price action in DELL through Thursday's close. I have to imagine prices trading in the $117 area. I consider the technical setup of DELL as mixed at best.

The market is keyed in on earnings from Nvidia scheduled for after the market close on Wednesday. However, there's another well-known tech name slated to report as well. Salesforce  (CRM)  is scheduled to post its latest quarterly numbers after the close of trading on Wednesday. Will CRM be on a stronger footing or will it have problems? KeyBank  (KEY)  recommended the stock Thursday after disappointing quarterly numbers posted after the close on Wednesday. Let's check out the charts and indicators and make up our own mind on how to trade EAT. In the daily bar chart of EAT, below, I can see that the shares have moved in a choppy sideways to lower pattern the past two to three months.

In my last review of Tyler Technologies  (TYL)  from June 2023 I wrote that TYL had been "marking time" with its sideways price action at the time, and that the rally should resume soon. I also felt that traders could probe the long side of the software and services company on strength above $404; the $431 area was my first price target and $472 was the fundamental price target. TYL reached the $472 target in May, so let's check for other targets for the software and services company.
