OBJECTIVE: Lifestyle intervention is recommended as first-line treatment of diabetes at all ages; however, little is known about the efficacy of lifestyle intervention in older adults with diabetes. We aimed to determine whether lifestyle intervention would improve glycemic control and age-relevant outcomes in older adults with diabetes and comorbidities.

Hi, my name is Bryan and I'm from New York. The other week, I travelled to SF, where I visited for a few days. First of all, the city is gorgeous. The people are still relatively courteous towards others, (compared to NYC!!) and honestly the homeless problem isn't as overwhelming as it's made out to be. I am not an early bird. I’m an insomniac night owl forced to live in an early-bird world. That said, there are some things I will get up for: Work (although it’s debatable whether I stay awake once there), an outbound flight, and the smell of breakfast cooking. There is one thing I will get up for without the motivation of a paycheck, a small bag of peanuts and bacon. And that’s women’s soccer. And since the FIFA Women’s World Cup has kicked off, it’s that time of year.
