    Fenton — The high school spring sports season is officially in the books after Saturday's state soccer action at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. Starting in the Class 1 state title game, Blair Oaks fell to Elsberry, 6-1. The result capped of a season of "firsts" for the Lady Falcons. In just the 3rd year of the Blair Oaks girls soccer program, the team earned its first state trophy, final four trip, district championship, and playoff win. The Lady Falcons finish the year with a 16-8-1 record.

    Ozark — For the first time in six years, the Fatima Comets are returning to the state championship game. After a 12-3 win over Holden on Wednesday, Fatima is set to match up with Fair Grove for the Class 2 baseball crown. The Comets got going in the very first inning with five runs scored. They also plated three runs in both the fourth and sixth innings. Brody Kleffner pitched into the seventh inning and was relieved by Logan Kliethermes who earned the final two outs.

    Jefferson City — Jefferson City Baseball's Jordan Martin was recognized among the nation's best on Tuesday. The Jays standout was awarded the 2024-25 Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year in baseball. Martin did it all with Jefferson City in his senior season. On the mound, he earned a 5-1 record with an earned run average of just 1.06. Martin also got it done on the plate as well with a .416 batting average, 28 runs batted in, and struck out just four times the entire season.

    Ozark — St. Elizabeth and Eugene took the field in state championship games on Tuesday at Ozark Mountain Sports Complex. In the Class 1 title game, St. Elizabeth got the job done against Faith Christian Academy, 5-2. The win for the Hornets is the school's sixth baseball state title. Meanwhile in the Class 2 title game, Eugene fell to Miller, 7-1. Eagles cap off the school's second ever trip to the state title game and a 25-9 record. In the third-place game for Class 2, Tipton fell to Chafee, 4-3.
