    Four people were hurt in a crash on Thursday in Camden County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash report indicates that the crash happened at 3:12 p.m. on northbound Route 5, south of Eddie Avenue. A 2013 Lexus RX, driven by a 75-year-old woman from Council Bluff, Ia., and a 2023 Ford F250, driven by a 52-year-old man from Lebanon, were stopped in traffic.

    A Vandalia man was charged, accused of purposefully hitting another car with his truck. Court documents state that Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers went to a crash on April 15 at 6:47 p.m. on South Main Street at East Woodlawn Street in Vandalia. There was a red Dodge Challenger at the scene with front end damage. A man, woman, and a child were in the Challenger. Troopers investigated and said that the car had been hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by Joseph Fischer.
