WASHINGTON -- With Monday’s exhibition game canceled due to inclement weather at Nationals Park, Baltimore left-hander Cade Povich now sets his sights on preparing for the Orioles’ home opener on March 31 against the Red Sox. “It definitely was a great opportunity to get somewhat of a Spring Training start in -- but in a big league park -- and kind of center myself around what it’s going to be like,” Povich said Monday. “Obviously, I wish I would've pitched today, but it's unfortunate.

BALTIMORE -- Left-hander Cole Ragans had to wait an extra five hours to duel Orioles ace Corbin Burnes in Wednesday’s rain-delayed series finale at Camden Yards. But neither the long drawn-out day nor the competition fazed the 26-year-old, who retired 18 of his first 19 batters faced. BALTIMORE -- Alec Marsh notched his first career win as a starter, subduing the vaunted Orioles bats over a career-high seven innings of two-hit ball as Kansas City evened the series with a 4-1 victory on a cold and rainy night at Camden Yards. Marsh was in the zone all night, allowing only two doubles on 76 pitches, 54 for strikes. The right-hander struck out five and walked one. It was the Royals first win in six tries in Baltimore dating back to the first game of a doubleheader on May 8, 2022.

Very Robo Denver Broncos ish but the WMU version is turning to face the camera. Very intimidating. Irony they face the University of DENVER. Maybe confuse the Pios? Should be fun.

@Draftnik88 @NCAAIceHockey @TheNCHC @WMUHockey They did use the one on the ice with the circle W for a little bit, but this is the main logo used in athletics nowadays. I was hoping it would be on the ice in St. Lounatics, but that isn’t the case. https://t.co/8QKGcvLIt4
