DENVER (KDVR) — Two Colorado state lawmakers’ vehicles were vandalized at the state Capitol on Wednesday, the last day of the regular legislative session, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Video footage showed a suspect damaging a vehicle belonging to Rep. Sean Camacho, a Denver Democrat, at around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday on the east side of the Capitol’s parking lot, CSP said in a Thursday press release. The vehicle had a broken windshield caused by a thrown rock.

DENVER — A bill backed by the El Paso and Teller County Sheriff's Offices is not moving forward at the Colorado State Capitol. Senate Bill 25-047 failed to pass a state senate committee on a party line vote of three to two Tuesday night. The bill, which had only Republican sponsors, would have allowed sheriffs to notify federal agents when someone wanted for immigration violations is about to be released from county jail.
