HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a stray bullet inside her west Houston apartment on Tuesday. The Houston Police Department said the shooting happened at about 8:30 p.m. at an apartment complex on Tanglewilde Street. Lt. Larry Crowson said a woman was sitting on her living room couch, heard gunfire, felt a pain in her leg, and realized she had been shot. The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

It happened in a neighborhood near Fonde Park in southeast Houston and comes as neighbors are demanding someone do something about the constant gunfire. Duke Amos and his wife were sleeping when the sound of gunshots woke them up in the middle of the night on Sunday.

The 21-year-old victim, Angel Muniz-Acosta, was driving with his girlfriend in east Harris County when the suspect shot at them. Homicide investigators with the Harris County Sheriff's Office have vehicle descriptions, but no arrests have been made.

SIENNA, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation into a road rage incident is underway after a daycare bus driver was threatened in Fort Bend County, according to deputies. On Wednesday, at about 3:15 p.m., a driver allegedly cut off a daycare bus driver at the intersection of Waters Lake Boulevard and Sienna Parkway. The suspected driver is accused of waving a gun at the daycare bus driver at the intersection.
