TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Terre Haute union workers and residents came together to remember those who lost their lives on the job. It was all a part of the Workers Memorial Day service that took place at the Debs Museum in Terre Haute. The Greater Terre Haute Branch of NAACP and Central Wabash Valley Building and Construction Trades Council partnered up for the event. It featured comments from local elected officials and union leaders.

BRIDGETON, Ind. (WTHI) - Folks traveled all the way back to the 18th Century to get a glimpse of what life was like. Actors sported period clothing such as feather caps, long waist coats, and "riding boots. Visitors got the chance to try their hand at all sorts of things! There was a trade fair, black powder shoots, knife throws, bow shooting, and hearth cooking in log cabins!What better way to learn about our past than by living it for a day!"We do try to have different things going on.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Folks threw a hoppin party in the historic brewing district of Terre Haute!Around 2,000 people gathered to celebrate the 3rd Annual Haute, Hops, and Vines festival. Vendors, volunteers, and visitors raised a toast to the brewing heritage in this area. People could enjoy craft drinks from indiana breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Visitors say it was cool to see so many people come out to support Hoosier brewers.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - A group took to the streets for National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Wabash Valley Council on Domestic Abuse, or CODA, initiated the Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event. A group of activists showed support for victims of sexual abuse by walking a mile from THPD to the Vigo County courthouse. Local male officials also showed their support by wearing some heels on the job through the week.
